    SHONAN CO.,LTD established
    The first Shonan 20cm incandescent searchlights for patrol boats are delivered to the Japan Coast Guard
  • 1953
    Developed Smoke Indicator for investigation of marine boiler
  • 1957
    Osaka Branch office opens
  • 1960
    The first Japanese-made 60cm xenon signal searchlights for submarine rescue vessels are delivered to the Defense Agency
  • 1962
    Sales division becomes independent of SHONAN CO.,LTD and is established as SHONAN CORPORATION
  • 1964
    LIghting System was accepted for #18 Tokyo Olympic Game
  • 1968
    4500W large size Halogen Flood light installed on riot police patrol car was accepted by Metropolitan Police Department
  • 1970
    Shonan lighting systems are used in Sun Tower, the symbol of the Japan World Exposition, Osaka
  • 1971
    Established SHONAN CORPORATION Hiroshima Office at Takara Cho, Naka-ku, Hiroshima
  • 1972
    Lighting System for Sapporo Winter Olympic Game was accepted
  • 1975
    Many of Lighting System designed for Okinawa Ocean Expo 75 were accepted
  • 1976
    SHONAN CO.,LTD opens its new Mito factory in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture
  • 1984
    The first Shonan telescopic lighting units are delivered to the Hadano City firefighting headquarters
  • 1985
    Lighting System was accepted by organization of international Exposition, Tsukuba Japan, 1985
  • 1986
    Osaka Office amalgamated Hiroshima office
  • 1989
    Shonan receives a commendation from the Commandant of the Japan Coast Guard

    Lighting Systems were adopted for International Garden and greenery Exposition, OSAKA, 1990

    Both of Head office, SHONAN CO.,LTD and SHONAN CORPORATION was renewed

    Wireless Telescopic Searchlight was exhibited in TOKYO INTERNATIONAL FIRE and SAFETY EXHIBITION

    Installed many XENON SEARCHLIGHT on the Osaka Dome Ball Park

    Installed first surveillance system of ship’s name, 6KW searchlight, on Japan Coast Guard

    Mass delivery of security floodlights for the Okinawa Summit

    Various kind of Searchlight were adopted by High Rise Building in Shiodome area

    SHONAN CO.,LTD Mito factory acquires ISO9001:2000 certification
